Oscar Salinas was the father of Little Women: Atlanta cast members Amanda and Andrea Salinas. He made his first appearance on Little Women: Atlanta in Season 1.

Biography
Oscar Salinas was born on April 11, 1962. He was married to Janie Salinas. He was the father of Amanda and Andrea Salinas. He also fathered a son named Oscar Salinas Jr. (who is older than the twins) and another daughter, who are both average-sized.

Salinas was the grandfather of Andrea's son André and daughters Aubrey, and Anaya. He had another
granddaughter (named Isla) who is the offspring of his son Oscar Jr., and three more grandchildren who are the offspring of his oldest daughter.
His Grandson André lived with him and his wife in Texas so that he can stay close to his doctors. Janie and Oscar adopted him, but Andrea planned on having André move in with her, his father Chris, and his sisters after he got his health together.

On September 12, 2022, Oscar's daughter Amanda posted a picture of him, herself, and his wife Janie to her Instagram asking fans to pray for Oscar, alongside the hashtag, #pulmonaryfibrosissucks , revealing his Pulmonary Fibrosis diagnosis to the public. On September 15, 2022, Oscar's other daughter, Andrea posted a picture of herself with Oscar and her twin sister Amanda to social media. In the caption she was asking for people to pray for Oscar, and she included the hashtag, #f*ckcovid. Amanda commented underneath the post explaining that Mr. Salinas had Covid-19 two years prior and he got really sick from it, and he developed IPF (Ideopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) from catching Covid.
While awaiting results to see if he was a candidate for a lung transplant, Oscar's condition declined rapidly. Salinas lost his battle to IPF, and passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 60. His son Oscar Jr. put together a GofundMe fundraiser for himself, his mother Janie, his sister, and his sister's children, to pay for their monthly mortgage, light, water, and food for a few months, after the burial of Oscar Sr.
